Demon skulls discovered in da Vinci's lair!

Recent finds in Leonardo da Vinci's crumbling atelier have stunned art aficionados. Selected groups of scholars and academics have been given privileged access to the newly discovered trove of Leonardo relics.

Among the hoard of items were a group "demon skulls" discovered in a leather trunk dating to the 13th century, containing a short explanatory note, which experts have attributed to the notorious Count Allessandro di Cagliostro. How the trunk came into da Vinci's hands is not known, but the engraved skulls must have intrigued the ingenious polymath.
